JAMAK AI S.A.S. de C.V. ("JAMAK", "we"), domiciled in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of your personal data through the RegioPlacas mobile application ("the App"). This privacy notice is issued in compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties ("LFPDPPP") and its Regulations.

1. Personal data we collect

To provide our services we collect:

• Identification data: full name, email address, mobile phone number
• Vehicle data: plate number, make, model, year, vehicle type
• Technical data: push notification token, device identifier, operating system
• Usage data: App interactions, screens visited, features used (collected anonymously via PostHog)

2. Sensitive personal data

We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference, biometric data, etc.).

3. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes (necessary for the service):

• Create and manage your user account
• Check vehicle status (registration, fines, inspection) from public government sources
• Send you alerts and reminders about vehicle deadlines
• Quote and facilitate vehicle insurance through authorized brokers

Secondary purposes (optional):

• Analyze usage patterns to improve the App
• Send you communications about new features or services

4. Data transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to:

• Supabase Inc. — secure cloud data storage (US servers)
• Authorized insurance brokers — only vehicle data necessary for quoting
• PostHog Inc. — usage analytics (anonymized data)
• Expo / EAS — update distribution and push notifications

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Government data

The App queries vehicle information from public government sources in Nuevo León (ICVNL, REPUVE). This information is publicly accessible and is queried solely with the plate number you provide. JAMAK does not store government query results for more than 24 hours.

6. Vehicle insurance

When you request an insurance quote, we share your vehicle data (plate, make, model, year) with the insurance broker to generate the quote. JAMAK does not process or store payment data.

7. Security measures

We implement technical and administrative measures to protect your data: TLS encryption in transit, secure authentication, row-level security (RLS) policies in the database, and restricted access to authorized personnel.

8. ARCO rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object to the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights). To exercise these rights, send an email to privacidad@regioplacas.app.

9. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all your data from the Settings section of the App or by sending an email to privacidad@regioplacas.app. Deletion will be processed within a maximum of 48 hours.

10. Minors

RegioPlacas is not directed at persons under 18 years of age. We do not intentionally collect data from minors.

11. Changes to this privacy notice

We reserve the right to modify this notice. Any changes will be published on this page and, if significant, we will notify you through the App.
