These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the RegioPlacas mobile application ("the App"), operated by JAMAK AI S.A.S. de C.V. ("JAMAK", "we"), domiciled in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

1. Description of the service

RegioPlacas is a free vehicle management application for owners of vehicles registered in Nuevo León:

  • Check vehicle registration (refrendo) status
  • Look up traffic fines and violations
  • Check the vehicle inspection calendar
  • Verify the legal status of the vehicle (REPUVE)
  • Receive alerts and reminders about deadlines
  • Quote and purchase vehicle insurance
  • Store vehicle documents digitally
  • Access emergency guides and useful contacts

2. Requirements for use

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must provide truthful and up-to-date information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You may only register vehicles you own or are authorized to manage

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the App to:

  • Perform automated mass queries (scraping)
  • Resell or redistribute obtained information
  • Register third-party vehicles without their authorization
  • Any illegal activity or activity that violates Mexican law
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Interfere with the operation of the App

4. Vehicle information

Vehicle information comes from public government sources of the state of Nuevo León and the federal government. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of the information. For legal or financial decisions, always verify directly with the authorities.

5. No government affiliation

RegioPlacas is an independent application developed by JAMAK AI. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the Government of Nuevo León, ICVNL, or any other government entity.

6. Vehicle insurance

JAMAK acts as a technology facilitator for insurance:

  • JAMAK is not an insurer or insurance agent
  • The insurance contractual relationship is between you and the insurer
  • Quotes are indicative and may vary
  • Insurance claims must be managed directly with the insurer

7. Intellectual property

All content of the App is the property of JAMAK AI or its licensors. No intellectual property rights are granted by using the App beyond a personal use license.

8. Limitation of liability

JAMAK shall not be liable for decisions made based on information displayed in the App, fines or surcharges resulting from outdated information, or service interruptions.

9. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León.
